When my daughter was first born, she literally slept in this swing. I highly recommend it to mothers or fathers that may be struggling to keep their child asleep without holding them.
At times, the slight movement of a swing will help them stay asleep. It is not recommended to let your baby sleep in them, but for us, they were safe as long as they were buckled in as they should be based on the manufacturer instructions.

There is a good reason why this swing sells well online. I think first off is that it has a lot of features on it that make it very nice to use. The music, various motions that you can use, and all of that make it a very customizable option. I think the best part about it though is that it plugs into the wall.
We bought this Fisher Price My Little Snugabunny Cradle ‘n Swing as a replacement for a hand-me-down swing that my sister had given us. Don’t get me wrong, the other swing was nice too, but I don’t know how many batteries we went through. This one, with the plug in option, it doesn’t die in the middle of the night while the baby is sleeping!
The only downside that I have seen posted is that a few people found that the motor was not all that durable. The motor for some stopped working. The good news is that Fisher Price is a reputable company and it should be under warranty for most people to get it replaced if it stops working.
